Mobile Kiosk / Trailer Systems Hire 

Wheeliebox catering trailers / kiosks are now available for long term hire and (subject to availability) short term. A ready to go fully equipped

 catering unit for those requiring catering facilities. It is ideally suited for general purpose catering at sports fields, industrial estates, markets, shows, shopping centre,s and car boots to just name a few possibilities. We can offer 8ft, 9ft 12ft coloured catering Trailers or demountable kiosk all come complete with gas certificate and electrical certificate and meet the environmental health standards for equipment and layout.

 

The secret to all catering kiosk / trailers is location, presentation, personnel, food and price, get that right and you could make lots of money. We can help you with

presentation by using a Wheeliebox unit.  As use by Lord Allan Sugar in the Apprentice in May/June 2011 episode we had the Big Orange and the Lime Tree use by the Apprentices to sell food at two railway station location in London.

CIVIC GOVERNMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 1982

In accordance with the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, a Street Trader’s Licence issued by a licensing authority, is required for street trading by a person, whether on his own account or as an employee. Each individual trader requires to be separately licensed.

A Street Traders Licence applies to any person in a public place and includes doing any selling from a vehicle, catering trailer or in or from a kiosk or moveable 

stall not entered in the Valuation Roll (Business Rates) if you are paying or have Business rates applied to your ground area you operate from you Do not require a Street Traders Licence under the law.

 

Wheeliebox demountable trailers, are accepted by Councils as static kiosk/portable buildings and are subject to business rates.

If you are thinking of setting up a street trading business, consider using one of our demountables. Apply to the council business rates valuation department to have the area you plan to operate from assessed for business rates. Under the present government and under the small business rates scheme you may not have any rates to pay, which is a win win situation all round for the street trader. 

 

Wheeliebox Hire Rate:-

 

Our rate vary from £125 per week to £300 per week depending on size of the unit and equipment required. Most of our kiosk are setup to meet your requirements

But subject to availability of the kiosk and or equipment. I.e a daily cost of a catering unit can work out from £18 to £43 per day, a cheap start up cost for any Business, allowing you to build up a cash flow to buy your own Wheeliebox and test the market.

More Information

Our 8 foot kiosk/trailer has a towing weight of 700kg and our 12 foot kiosk/trailers towing weight of 1100kg. This is our weight NOT including items load by the client. The gross plated weight of our units are 1500kg.

We don't provide generators, but will confirm the (KVA) size you require to run the equipment in any on our units.

We don't provide gas bottles, you will require two 19kg propane (red) bottles, these must be removed from the unit before returning the unit to us. If not we charge £100 to dispose of these bottles.

To book a hire please contact the office for availability. Should one be available we will require a deposit of £800 deposit. On receipt of the deposit we will email the you contract. This contract must be returned with in five days fully completed along with a standing order confirmation from your bank. Before delivery or pickup we will require a copy of an insurance policy covering the hired unit. We will require to know where the trailer or kiosk is being operated and stored for the term of the hire.

Our terms are a six-month minimum hire or pro-rata subject to terms and references. An £800 deposit is only returned on completion of contract term and the unit is returned in a clean and undamaged condition with any out standing cost having been paid i.e. delivery pickup or setup. Payment is weekly in advance by standing order on a Friday; we check the bank on the following Monday. If payment is not in the bank on the Monday we will treat it as a breach of contract and collect and remove the unit without warning. Full terms and hire rates are available from the main office.

Signage on any of our units is restricted to the roof signboard only. If signs are placed anywhere else this could result in the forfeit of the deposit. This is due to pigment impressions left in the fiberglass
